The "Fisher" method is a mathematical method which divides the sequence sample into most excellent segments. The method is characterized by objectivity and optimum. In this paper the author applies the method to divide the earthquake activity periods. Concrete divided examples are given. Finally some questions related to applying the method are discussed.
