    为深入了解不同通道卫星遥感红外数据的基本特征,并提升其在区域强震监测预测中的应用效果,基于2004—2021年青藏高原东部及周边地区中分辨率成像光谱仪(MODIS)卫星遥感红外数据,从背景场特征和强震监测效果两方面,对中红外与热红外通道数据展开系统对比分析。结果表明:两通道辐射值均呈现显著的季节特征、纬度特征和海拔特征,但热红外通道辐射值受地表温度影响更大,变化幅度也更大;在巴颜喀拉块体中东段的年尺度监测中,中红外通道辐射异常的强震(M≥7.0)对应率(约78%)高,漏报率(0%)低,其强震监测效果优于热红外通道。因此,在巴颜喀拉块体中东段开展卫星遥感红外数据M≥7.0强震的年尺度监测预测工作,宜优先选用中红外通道数据。

    Abstract:

    To investigate the fundamental characteristics of satellite remote sensing infrared data from different channels and enhance their efficacy in regional strong-earthquake monitoring and prediction, this study systematically compares mid-infrared and thermal infrared channels using moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer data (2004—2021) from the eastern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and adjacent regions, focusing on background characteristics and seismic monitoring performance. Results indicate that radiant values from both channels exhibit significant seasonal, latitudinal, and altitudinal characteristics. However, the radiant values from the thermal infrared channel are more significantly influenced by temperature and exhibit larger variation amplitudes. For the annual-scale monitoring of M≥7.0 earthquakes in the mid-eastern Bayan Har block, the mid-infrared channel achieves a superior anomaly correspondence rate (~78%) with zero missing rate (0%), outperforming the thermal infrared channel in seismic application. Therefore, data from the mid-infrared channel are recommended as the primary choice for annual-scale monitoring and forecasting of M≥7.0 earthquakes in this region.
