The earthquake happened in Dingxi and Huining county on April 26,1352, was one of the strongest earthquake in center of Gansu province. Because of the shortage of historical documents it has been not clearly recognized for a long time. In recent years, during the collecting of the historical data and investigation in the field, many new discoveries for this event were gotten, which provide a valuable historical basis for researching the earthquake.
