    Abstract:

    Time-delay compensation is an important problem in the real-time hybrid seismic testing of buildings. In this paper, research on time-delay compensation methods are summarized and these methods are divided into time-based displacement prediction, displacement prediction based on the feedback force, methods based on loading system model inversion, methods based on control theory, and comprehensive compensation methods based on concept integration. All of these methods are introduced and described.
